End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("you", "User") and Allen Sutterfield ("we", "us", "Licensor") for the game Architects of Wealth (the "Game"), including the web client, any mobile applications, related services, content, and updates.
By installing, accessing, or playing the Game you accept this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install, access, or play the Game.
1. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control.
2. Restrictions
You will not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game except where permitted by law; (b) copy, distribute, lease, rent, sublicense, or sell the Game; (c) modify or create derivative works of the Game; (d) use cheats, automation, modifications, or third-party tools that interfere with gameplay, the economy, or other players; (e) use the Game in violation of any applicable law; or (f) remove any proprietary notices.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this EULA, the Terms of Service, or applicable platform policies.
4. In-app purchases & virtual items
The Game may offer optional in-app purchases. All purchases are processed by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record) and are governed by our Refund Policy. Virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for real currency outside the Game, and are licensed — not sold — for use within the Game. We may modify, suspend, or remove virtual items at any time.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., display names, bazaar listings). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Game. You are responsible for your content and must not submit anything unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful.
6. Updates & service changes
We may update, patch, rebalance, or discontinue features of the Game at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to preserve player progress but cannot guarantee any specific feature, content, balance, or service level will remain unchanged.
7. Intellectual property
The Game, including all artwork, code, music, characters, names, story, and branding, is owned by Allen Sutterfield and protected by intellectual property laws. This EULA grants only the license described in Section 1; no other rights are granted.
8. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your license at any time if you violate this EULA. On termination you must stop using the Game and delete any copies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Licensor be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your use of the Game. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $50.
11. Platform-specific terms
If you obtained the Game via the Apple App Store or Google Play, this EULA is between you and Licensor only — not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Game, its content, support, warranties, or claims, but are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you. Use of the Game must also comply with the applicable App Store / Google Play terms.
12. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws applicable to Licensor's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
